International Learning Support Educator
It is my goal to collaborate with a community of motivated educators with the purpose of creating internationally minded lifelong learners that are able to build meaningful connections to their learning. My diverse experience allows me to offer a unique perspective and develop strong relationships with all students.
Multi-Lingual
I am a role model of lifelong learning and continue to look for opportunities to improve my skills and knowledge. After earning my Master of Science degree in Multidisciplinary Studies from the State University of New York, I also received an Advance Certified Autism Specialist, Applied Behavior Analysis, and many other beneficial certificates from regular attendance at professional development workshops.

Early Years and Elementary
I am experience in teaching early years learners where I use play-based learning and Reggio Emilia educational philosophy. In the elementary years I use the Readers and Writers model for literacy and phonics combinded with multisensory approaches.
Language Support
I am a qualified WIDA educator. I develop students language skills to support academic success and daily communication skills. I support inclusive education and students in their mainstream class by co-teaching, working with small groups or individual students.
Special Education
I am experienced in students with mild to severe learning needs which includes intellectual or developmental disabilities.I provide support through small group instructions or a co-teaching model. I work on their individualized learning goals and IEPs.

My Approach & Philosophy
It is my goal to collaborate with a community of motivated educators with the purpose of creating internationally minded lifelong learners that are able to build meaningful connections with their learning. My diverse experience allows me to offer a unique perspective and develop strong relationships with all students.
After earning a Special Education bachelor’s degree, I began working as a homeroom teacher for a Taiwanese international primary school which required me to support students who were physically disabled, mentally handicapped, and experienced speech delay. This was a challenging first experience and required a large amount of patience and creativity, but it helped to develop my strong pedagogical foundation.
